Helloy, I have a question
With the announced release of RHEL 4 Beta, has work begun on WBEL 4? Really looking for it!

Just for fun, I have downloaded and installed RHEL 4 Beta 2 ... I am in
the process of building the SRPMs on itself, hopefully to complete the
building this weekend.

I'll post any SRPMS I can't get to build...

Per my previous post, I have finally finished the initial rebuild of
RHEL AS 4 - Beta 2 ... several packages didn't build.
----------------------------------------------
compat-gcc-296-2.96-130.7.2

comps-3.95AS-0.20041027 (expected ... will be replaced anyway)

dhcp-3.0.1-11 (caused by a problem in gcc ... fixed in gcc-3.4.3-2)

elfutils-0.96-1

gnome-spell-1.0.5-6

iptraf-2.7.0-11 (bug in the glibc header files, fixed in
glibc-2.3.3-74)

Kernel - (expected ... will fix later)

lilo-21.4.4-26

memprof-0.5.1-5

openoffice.org-1.1.2-10 (requires compat-gcc >= 8-3.3.4.1 and
compat-gcc-c++ >= 8-3.3.4.1)

setools-1.4.1-5

Xaw3d-1.5-23
--------------------------------------------

Rather than posting everything to the mailing list and making lots of
update posts (where many people might not be interested), I have put
lots of info in my forum.

If you are interested in RHEL 4 and rebuilding it, come, read, and
participate :)...
